Distribution of Cases Among Hospitals

 In 2003, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 2 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2001, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 1or fewer inpatient cases. In 1999, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 2 or fewer inpatient cases. In 1998, 25% were done at a hospital with 2 or fewer cases.  

In 2003, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 4 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2001, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 4 or fewer inpatient cases. In 1999, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 4 or fewer inpatient cases. In 1998, 50% were done at a hospital with 4 or fewer. 

In 2003, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 8 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2001, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 8 or fewer inpatient cases. In 1999, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 8 or fewer inpatient cases. In 1998, 75% were done at a hospital with 9 or fewer. 

In 2003, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 126. In 2001, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 214. In 1999, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 194. The maximum for 1998 was 186.
