Distribution of Cases Among Hospitals

 In 2002, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 113 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2001, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 137 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2000, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 160 or fewer inpatient cases.  

In 2002, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 222 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2001, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 201 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2000, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 233 or fewer inpatient cases.

In 2002, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 412 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2001, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 360 or fewer inpatient cases. In 2000, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 364 or fewer inpatient cases. 

In 2002, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 1368. In 2001, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 1492. In 2000, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 1516.
