Distribution of Cases Among Hospitals

 In 1999, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 7 or fewer inpatient cases. During the period October 1, 1997 - September 30, 1998, 25% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 7 or fewer inpatient cases.  

In 1999, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 20 or fewer inpatient cases. During the period October 1, 1997 - September 30, 1998, 50% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 18 or fewer inpatient cases. 

In 1999, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 33 or fewer inpatient cases. During the period October 1, 1997 - September 30, 1998, 75% of the cases were performed at a hospital which did 32 or fewer inpatient cases. 

In 1999, the maximum number of cases done at an individual hospital  was 221. The maximum for the period October 1, 1997 - September 30, 1998 was 208
